Trying to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list can add unnecessary pressure. Try to remember the reason for the season and make your gift <span id="more-237"></span>reflect that original simplicity. Giving something hand-made if you&#8217;re the crafty type, or a bound book of photographs from shared experiences during the year are great ideas.</P><P>A calendar with pictures of happy times for each month of the new year, or home-made goodies from your kitchen (giving you an opportunity to share the gift giving process with others in the family) are all ideas that will save you money and time. These types of personalized gift probably will mean more to the recipient than something off the shelf in a store.</P><P>Set Reasonable Goals. Be careful not to over extend yourself. Choose only those activities that you look forward to and decline invitations for the rest. It&#8217;s easier to do than you think. <p>Use the breakup time to fix and work on yourself. This doesn’t mean sit around, eating gallons of ice cream and watching loads of romantic/comedy movies. Get off the couch and go out with your friends no matter what your boyfriend did to you. Put your heart back together.</p>
<p>Would you be surprised that just getting your head cleared helps you to get over the hardest part of the breakup? Be sure to go out and have fun. Lose yourself in the fun so you can put yourself back together. Yet, be sure you don’t go overboard. If you drink too much, you won’t be solving any of the problems, you’ll only be adding to it. Make sure any fun you have is clean and wholesome and with your friends. If you want your ex back, this is imperative to do.</p>

<p>  As it comes to starting the garden, people have 2 choices; planting the seeds, or buying complete plants. Each idea has its own benefits. If seeds are planted and you and care for them daily, you would find it as a more rewarding experience when there is a full and healthy plant. This method however, is quite risky. We often go about planting many seeds and never see its trace in future, whatsoever.</p>
<p>If the choice is about buying the<span id="more-271"></span> plant from nursery and then installing it in the garden, it would reduce lots of work involved in keeping it healthy. In the past it has been found that many incompetent workers in the nursery workers would ruin the plant&#8217;s future by putting varied chemicals and fertilizers on it. People have adapted to such incompetence by knowing to choose among the healthiest plants in the bunch. Below discussed are few of the techniques used in the screening process for the plants.</p>
<p>It would sound too superficial, but one thing people need to check about the prospective plants is if they really look nice. As far as the plants go, one could truly judge books by its cover. When the plant has been treated good and healthy having no diseases or pests, we could almost always tell looking at its good looks. When a plant grows up in unhealthy soil, or has some harmful bugs present in it, you could tell from its holey leaves and the wilted stems.</p>
<p>When browsing the shelves in the nursery looking for the dream plant, you would want to exclude things that presently have flowers. The plants are very less traumatized by transplants if they don&#8217;t presently have flowers. It is great to check ones that just has the buds. But when you are supposed to choose from all flowering plants, then you must do the unthinkable and sever each one of them. It would be worth it when plant&#8217;s future health is concerned. Transplanting the plant when it blooms would result in dead plants; around 90 percent of the times.</p>
<p>Make sure to check the roots as you plop the money down to purchase the plant. If incase the roots are in real terrible condition you would be able to realize looking at the remaining plant. But when the roots are only slightly out of structure, then you probably would not be able to say just by having a look at it. You must inspect the roots too close for every signs of rottenness, brownness, or softness. Roots must always be firm, and should act as a perfectly well staged infrastructure holding all soils together. One could easily say if roots are before or past the prime, depending upon root and soil ratio. If there is a ridiculous amount of root with less soil, or bunch of soil with fewer roots, one should make sure to not buy the plant.</p>
<p>If there are any abnormalities found with the plant, be it the shape of roots or any other irregular features with leaves etc, you must ensure to ask the employees in the nursery. While often these things could be signs of unhealthy plants, at times there would be logical explanations about it. Give the nursery chances before you plan to write them off as horrendous. They are after all, professionals who deal with or have been dealing with several plants for years.</p>
<p>So if people decide to go about the easy route of getting plants from a nursery, they would just have to keep in mind about the health of plants as it is left up to others they don’t know. Often they do good jobs, but people should always double check for their safety. Also every precaution must be taken to avoid transplant shocks in plants when they have trouble adjusting to the new location; leading to health problems in future. Very often the process goes well, but may never be too accurate about it.</p>

If these things have not helped us, then what is the answer?</p>
<p>Living a healthy lifestyle is necessary for healthy weight maintenance<span id="more-280"></span> and losing those unwanted pounds and inches. And it doesn&#8217;t come easy unless you develop enthusiasm for remaining at your ideal weight. I lost 70 pounds and have kept it off for 15 years. How did I do it? Since I had a healthy weight loss, my body was able to heal itself in such a way that I no longer needed to take medications for my severe asthma and allergy problems. Words cannot describe how much enthusiasm this gave me to continue leading a healthy lifestyle.</p>
<p>Other than enthusiasm and my own personal reasons, there are certain things that are necessary for healthy weight maintenance  Here are 6 healthy weight maintenance tips that can help you avoid gaining your weight back after you have spent time and money to lose those unwanted pounds and inches.</p>
<p>Healthy Weight Maintenance Tips #1: Exercise<br />You knew this would be at the top. It is extremely important to participate in some sort of aerobic exercise for least 30 minutes each day. For me, it&#8217;s riding a bike 4 miles a day, rain or shine without exception. I make it fun by riding with a friend, or listening to my favorite music on my IPOD. Don&#8217;t just do it for one day and then give up. The more you get out there and do it, the more you will enjoy it.</p>
<p>Healthy Weight Maintenance Tips #2: Meal Replacement<br />Everyone I help to maintain weight follows the same routine I do. I replace one high-calorie meal a day with an all-natural soy-based protein shake. This allows us to get all the nutrition we need on a daily basis without eating as many calories as we did when we were overweight. For me, it&#8217;s the first meal I eat when I wake up in the morning so I never forget or become too busy to eat properly.</p>
<p>Healthy Weight Maintenance Tips #3: Keep A Food Log<br />When you write down everything that you passes your lips, you can be honest about your weight. If you look on your list and see too many junk foods, you know what you have to do to make that list shorter the next day so you can get back on track. This is extremely helpful for me at night when I feel the urge to snack while watching a movie. This is the worst time you can eat, so avoid it at all costs.</p>
<p>Healthy Weight Maintenance Tips #4: Make Healthier Food Choices<br />This doesn&#8217;t mean you have to give up on all the foods you love. It just means that if they are high-calorie/salt/fat foods like pizza and fettucini alfredo, you must limit your intake. Choose lean proteins for no less than half of your weekly meals instead of rotating between things that are crispy, fried or smothered with high calorie toppings. Fish, chicken and filet are all healthy alternatives.</p>

<p> Eating with friends and family is a common way to interact socially. However, the main purpose of eating should be to keep us alive and healthy. Despite the fact you may not be able to follow these 5 healthy eating tips all the time, you&#8217;ll be much healthier if you at least follow them most of the time.</p>
<p>A healthy diet needs to consist of fruit, vegetables and fish and less saturated fat, salt and sugar. Unfortunately with our hecti<span id="more-253"></span>c pace of life it is much easier to hit the fast food joints than it is to keep a healthy eating schedule in place.</p>
<p>Price is also a factor. Cheap food just happens to be the same food that clogs your arteries and makes you fat. Try getting a nice fresh salad sandwich for the same price as a McDonald&#8217;s cheeseburger and chips (oh and for an extra 10c you&#8217;ll also get a coke!).</p>
<p>Here are some tips to get you on the road to healthy eating. </p>
<p>1. Eat a good breakfast<br />
How many times have you heard it&#8217;s the most important meal of the day? And that is because it is! Don&#8217;t skip it! Have some cereal with low fat yoghurt at the very least.</p>
<p>2. Eat plenty of whole grains, fruits and veggies<br />
Eating healthy is all about routine and finding things that are healthy but tasty as well. Fill up on this healthy food instead of scoffing cakes and donuts. Try eating raw veggies such as carrot and capsicum with a hommus dip. Yum! When having bread wholegrain is much healthier than white. You&#8217;ll get used to the taste.</p>
<p>3. Eat regular meals<br />
That way you won&#8217;t get hungry and just eat the nearest most convenient thing.</p>
<p>4. Eat moderate portions<br />
If you do want to keep eating unhealthy food occasionaly, keep the portions small. There is also evidence that suggests it is healthier to have regular small portions throughout the day rather than a large meal in the evening.</p>
<p>5. Change your cooking method<br />
Try steaming and stir frying instead of deep frying. Totally eliminates the fat and/or oil while cooking.</p>
<p>To make things easier initially, reduce your intake of unhealthy foods instead of completely eliminating them. It is possible that unhealthy eating has made you addicted to sugar and to eliminate sugary food all together almost guarantees failure.</p>
<p>Start by replacing the two donuts for morning tea to one donut, eventually substituting  the donut for an apple.  Have a donut occasionally if you must, but save it for special occasions.</p>
<p>These simple 5 healthy eating tips should get you on the path to healthy eating. It&#8217;s not that difficult, is it?</p>

<p> Diabetes affects over 18 million people, another 15 million may not yet be diagnosed, and that is in the United States alone! Currently diabetes is the 3rd leading cause of death in America. The truth about diabetes is that the body does not produce, or properly use, the insulin necessary for the body to absorb glucose (sugar). The glucose then accumulates in the bloodstream until levels get dangerously high. This condition then leads to diabetes<span id="more-188"></span> symptoms like: lack of energy, unusual weight gain, restless sleep, blurred vision, and tingling sensations in the affected individual.</p>
<p>There are certain herbs for diabetes treatment that alleviate many of diabetes symptoms. These herbs are:</p>
<p>Banaba; well known for its ability to lower blood sugar levels and transport glucose in the bloodstream (referred to by some as &#8220;botanical insulin&#8221;).</p>
<p>Bitter Melon; known to improve glucose tolerance and for its regulative abilities (considered the best for diabetes management by the Philippines Dept. of Health).</p>
<p>Cinnamon; proven to reduce the amount of insulin necessary for glucose metabolism by USDA research.</p>
<p>Zinc; contributes many factors to diabetes control. Zinc is essential for the pancreas to produce insulin. When zinc levels are low, diabetes treatments are hindered due to the pancreas&#8217; inability to produce the body&#8217;s own insulin and insulin receptor cells may become damaged.</p>
<p>Biotin; important B Vitamin for processing insulin. A study has shown that Type 1 diabetics receiving 16 mgs. of Biotin for one week, cut their fasting glucose by 50%. A type 2 diabetes study showed similar results.</p>
<p>Steps To Control Diabetes</p>
<p>1. Weight control will be your number one objective. When you are overweight your body can not make and control insulin. Insulin is used to control the amount of glucose in your blood. Check with your doctor for your ideal weight.</p>
<p>2. Exercise is also necessary. Your exercise routine does not have to be a grueling workout with weights. 30 to 40 minute brisk walks taken daily will be a great start.</p>
<p>3. Eat healthy meals. Fresh fruits and vegetables should take the place of potato chips and deep fried foods. Your doctor may have some sample diet plans to get you started.</p>
<p>4. Test regularly. By testing your blood glucose levels daily you will be more aware of how certain foods and activities affect your diabetes.</p>
<p>Diabetes cure by islet transplantation (Edmonton Protocol )</p>
<p>In pancreatic islet transplantation, cells are taken from a donor pancreas and transferred into another person. Once implanted, the new islets begin to make and release insulin. Researchers hope that islet transplantation will help people with type 1 diabetes live without daily injections of insulin.</p>
<p>Benefits and Risks of Islet Transplantation</p>
<p>Immunosuppressive or anti-rejection drugs are needed to keep the transplanted islets functioning. Researchers do not fully know what long-term effects these drugs may have. Also, although the early results of the Edmonton Protocol are very encouraging, more research is needed to answer questions about how long the islets will survive and how often the transplantation procedure will be successful.</p>

<p>Well I have been there and I am looking to give you some basic weight loss and healthy information to help you lose weight and better yet keep the weight of for good.</p>
<p>Many times people began to lose weight too fast and keep it off for too little then it all comes pouring back in and then end <span id="more-176"></span>up gaining even more weight.</p>
<p>There are a few key ingredients to loosing weight and here they are listed below:</p>
<p>Proper diet <br />Proper Exercise <br />Proper Water Intake <br />Proper Supplement intake <br />Proper Protein <br />Non Stress Environment</p>
<p>All of these things together can help you loose weight. If they are out of balance either one of these listed above can cause you to gain weight and not keep it off. One major part of keeping weight off is stress. Many times I talk to people over and over and I hear they are doing everything possible to loose weight ans nothing. They continue to gain or continue to stay at the same weight but they have stressful lives, or they have stressful jobs.</p>
<p>I immediately stop them and advise them that they are not shedding any pounds for this basic simple reason, STRESS.</p>
<p>Stress causing they body to crave more.</p>

Vinegar wash is a good home-made remedy. Mix two teaspoons of vinegar with six teaspoons of water, and apply it on your scalp before you go to bed. Apply the same solution in the morning before washing it off. Do not scratch your scalp with your fingernails as it could cause an infection. Following these healthy tips and with the right care, dandruff is manageable and can be kept in control.</p>
